How it works
From application to your first case
The process is short on purpose. A person reviews every application, a recorded case interview on your own time handles the rest, and everything after that is paid work: hourly, remote, on your schedule.
Apply and get reviewed
Apply through the portal with your license, specialty, and background. There's no instant, automated approval. A real person reads every application, checks your NPI against the national registry, and, if it's a fit, opens the recorded case interview. There is no call to schedule.
License and NPI
You share your license state and number and, if you have one, your NPI, which we check against the national NPI registry.
Specialty and background
Your specialty and clinical experience, so we route you to cases where your judgment is the qualified one.
A recorded case interview
Two simulated patient cases in your specialty, 30 to 40 minutes in total, on your own time. You work through each case the way a visit is documented in a clinic and talk through your reasoning out loud. Microphone only, no camera, reviewed by people. You sign one case interview agreement first.
Review the work
Once you're in, you take cases in your specialty whenever it suits you. Every case is a version of the same honest loop, and you can decline anything that falls outside your scope.
Read the AI's answer
A drafted patient answer or clinical recommendation, on fictional or de-identified cases.
Grade it against the checklist
Mark what a safe, complete answer had to cover, and flag what the model missed.
Write what good looks like
Author the short teaching cases and reference answers the model learns from.
Get paid by the hour
Work is asynchronous and remote, with no minimum hours. Your time is tracked in the platform, and payouts go to your bank through Stripe once you've connected a payout account during onboarding. You work as an independent contractor (1099 in the US), so there's no invoicing.
