How it works
From application to first payout in three steps
The process is deliberately short. Credential verification does the gatekeeping, one qualification exercise does the matching, and everything after that is paid work.
Step 01
Apply & verify
The application takes about ten minutes: role, specialty, license details, and a CV or LinkedIn URL. Verification typically completes within 2–3 business days, and you can browse open opportunities while it runs.
Once verified, you complete one short qualification exercise of about 30 minutes, drawn from real review work in your specialty and graded by senior reviewers. It sets your project matches and rate tier; it is not a trivia filter.
License verification
We confirm your license is active and unrestricted against state licensing board records. You provide the state and number; NPI is optional but speeds things up.
Training stage
Med student, resident, fellow, or attending: your stage sets your credential tier, which determines the projects and rates you're eligible for.
Clinical background
A short review of your CV or LinkedIn confirms specialty focus and years of experience so matching is accurate from day one.
Step 02
Get matched
Matching is specialty-first: an emergency physician sees triage-conversation review, a PharmD sees medication interaction QA, a pathology resident sees terminology work. You accept only the projects you want. There is no auto-assignment.
Matched to your specialty
Projects list required specialties and credential tiers up front. You'll only be matched where your judgment is the qualified one.
Transparent listings
Every listing shows its hourly rate, weekly commitment, and duration before you apply. No rate reveals after the fact.
Step 03
Work & get paid
All work is asynchronous and remote. Cases queue in the platform; you review at whatever volume fits your week, whether post-call, between shifts, or as a steady weekly block. Approved work pays weekly by direct deposit, with no minimum hours and no invoicing.
Illustrative rate guidance by credential tier
- Medical students & RNs$40–$75/hr
- NPs, PAs & pharmacists$60–$110/hr
- Residents & fellows$65–$120/hr
- Attendings & specialists$100–$200+/hr
Actual rates are set per project and shown on every listing. You work as an independent contractor (1099 in the US).
